Hannover Messe 2022: EMKA presents on two business areas

Concise and to the point: this is the motto EMKA is using for its appearance at the Hanover Trade Fair 2022. Participants at the leading trade fair – which was postponed to May because of the pandemic – have again had to improvise and cope with many uncertainties in the planning. For this reason, EMKA will not be starting with the usual 300 m2 but with a 150 m2 stand that focuses on the core business. However, this does not mean that visitors to the stand will get less information and news – on the contrary: there is a lot to report about EMKA. The EMKA experts will inform visitors in Hall 12 about the many possible applications of the closure systems.

Among other things, there will be current exhibits with two clear focal points: on the one hand, from the business field „Mould + Series“ and exhibits from the area of fittings and seals. The first field, in particular, will interest many visitors because when they think of EMKA’s product portfolio, most people first think of quarter turns and hinges. However, they will not necessarily envision housing covers for e-bikes, bindings for cross-country skis or shock absorbers for cars. EMKA is showing relevant samples in Hanover.EMKA is one of the largest mould makers in Europe today and even the only supplier that can offer everything from the initial model to series production and worldwide logistics from a single source. Mould and initial samples are created in the same production environment. The mould making and initial sample production stages are therefore directly linked.

If, after the optional series production, additional steps are required for the final product processing – for example, punching, bending, powder coating, electroplating, etc. – these steps are also carried out in-house. Not without good reason well-known industry giants such as Hella, Audi, Porsche, and Fischer Sports (skis) are among the repeat customers.
In addition, EMKA will present excerpts from its catalogue product world of swing levers, quarter turns, hinges and seals, and corresponding exhibits at its stand in Hall 12. Besides further developments and proven products from the single and multi-point locks portfolio, EMKA will present its range of complete locking systems, including monitoring functions for control and server cabinets. Here, EMKA provides comprehensive cabinet monitoring functions plus documented access control. System solutions, including a monitoring function, are in demand in sensitive areas such as data centres.

Besides these electronic locking solutions, the trade fair presentation focuses on the modular design of individual locking systems for classic control cabinets. As the world market leader for locking systems in switch cabinets and control cabinets, EMKA draws on a broad portfolio of different materials in order to be able to use the appropriate materials for the closures, hinges and seals for the prevailing conditions in each case. Thus, customers can choose from various locks for each system, from short escutcheons to multi-point lock systems with corner deflection. This adds up to around 1.2 million product variants in locking technology for control cabinets. This proves: even on “only” 150 m2, there is deep expertise and a wealth of information about EMKA available.
