Bourré, France

Already in 1986 EMKA expanded to France. At that time, the starting point was Paris. When relocating its sales office to Bourré, EMKA France could set its course for further growth at the beginning of the new millennium. Bourré and the EMKA production site in Henriville are about 600 km apart. Bourré is located in the Department Loir-et-Cher in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Locally, the EMKA Group had taken over the French company ROLEZ in 2001 as part of its continuous growth policy and expanded its product line by a wide range of toggle latches and accessories. Currently, 19 employees are working in Bourré.

Interlaken, Switzerland

The origin of EMKA‘s presence in Switzerland is in Thun. The first branch office in the Bernese Oberland was founded there in 1992. Due to increasing growth and the growing infrastructural attractiveness of the location Interlaken, the company moved to the south-eastern end of Lake Thun, about 30 km away, in 1997. The city has a population of about 6,000 and lies in a narrow, long valley between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. This is where the EMKA plant stands today in front of an impressive Alpine panorama. At present, 13 people are employed on site.
