EMKA Test Laboratory

Accredited test laboratory according to DAkkS

Before EMKA delivers the finished products to the customer, they are put through their paces in the EMKA test laboratory (EMKALab) that is accredited by the "Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH" (DAkkS). The task is the creation of new designs as well as prototypes, but above all the quality management of the products. Quality, robustness and performance are the desired results, for which the test laboratory constantly tests with new procedures. That is why we attach great importance to professionally trained laboratory staff, as confirmed by the DAkkS with its accreditation. EMKALab demonstrably offers the high technical competence to perform independent tests according to current standards.

High professional competence and independent testing according to current standards

The test laboratory has now received accreditation from the German Accreditation Body GmbH (DAkkS) for ten selected test methods. In accordance with the DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, it confirms EMKA's competence in carrying out material and environmental simulation tests. The test laboratory thus fulfills all legal and normative requirements at the highest international level.

The facility has extensive equipment: from water jet and dust testing equipment, a salt spray and climatic chamber, to a spectral analyzer and tensile testing machine. The focus is on numerous processes in the area of environmental simulation testing, technical and mechanical testing, as well as materials analysis and service life testing.
