The new T-handle: comfortable and secure locking - even under challenging conditions

The new T-handle is designed to be extremely sturdy, and its IP 65 protection class ensures that it remains dust- and waterproof, even in extreme weather. With its design tested for shock and vibration resistance, the handle performs exceptionally well even on rugged roads and off-road terrain. By offering a 6 mm path, the compression latch ensures a higher level of contact pressure, ensuring improved tightness when closing doors or flaps, unlike the typical 4 mm found in other T-handles.
Superior comfort and safety provided by „Push-to-Close“ feature
The „Push-to-Close“ function of the T-handle offers both a competitive advantage and increased convenience for users. By pressing the handle into the recess, the door can be locked without using a key. This provides both convenience and time-saving benefits, while also ensuring a high level of security. In addition, padlocks or custom seal wire can be attached to the intended eyelet. The T-handle is specifically made for door thicknesses between 1 and 12 mm. It also has a cut out that is commonly used in the industry.
With the large range of available locking inserts as well as the blind version without a locking cylinder, the new locking variant covers a wide range of applications. The handle is ideal for construction vehicles or lids and flaps on toolboxes and tool bags on lorry trailers and pickup truck bodies, for example. The T-handle is available in six variants - depending on the customer‘s safety requirements. T-handles are also perfect for emergency power generators or generators used outdoors. They are equally suitable for the caravan sector, e.g., as a handle for the gas flap on a caravan (front flap) or off-road campers.
A multi-point lock or a rotary latch lock is also available on request. The new T-handle has been tested for shock and vibration according to DIN EN 61373 and has successfully undergone long-term operation testing.
