Locking mechanisms as a cross-industry solution: EMKA has once again shown itself to be a pioneer in the development of sophisticated locking technology and beyond that for intelligent solutions for more than just fittings. These systems provide design, comfort and reliability in a wide range of applications – among other things to be seen in recent weeks at two important trade fairs at which EMKA demonstrates its range.

ePush Lock convinces at the CARAVAN SALON

Doors and flaps only open and close with a light touch? The ePush Lock makes this possible - invisibly. Thanks to the integrated push-to-close technology,
neither handles nor hinges are visible from the outside. EMKA recently presented this smart solution at CARAVAN SALON 2019, the world‘s largest trade fair for motorhomes, caravans and camping equipment. Their visitors could convince themselves of the ingenious mechanism of the system. The closure is easy to operate and also impresses with its high impermeability and low susceptibility to dirt. The latter is also due to the visual extra of the ePush Lock: From the outside, the user only sees a clear, flush surface with no visible closure. An all-round design that is not only interesting for the caravan sector but offers many application possibilities.

An emergency hammer completes portfolio at Busworld

Fresh design, modularity and function were the focus of the development of the new EMKA emergency hammer. The product complements the EMKA transport portfolio and is specially designed for the use on buses and trains. The emergency hammer was presented at Busworld 2019 in Brussels, the world‘s largest trade fair for buses and coaches. The emergency hammer enables escape or rescue
from a danger area. The modular system is available in two models: with hand protection and optional belt cutter. In order to be able to break glass panes in an emergency without the risk of injury, the handguard protects against splintering. The steel cable integrated with the holder serves as theft protection to prevent the emergency hammer from being stolen from the outset. On request, the emergency hammer is also available in two colours and in the customer‘s CI.
