New EMKA systems for the switch cabinet and railway industry

For customers of the switch cabinet and railway industry EMKA has been relying on the principle of multipoint locking systems for many years. By introducing two new solutions the manufacturer ensures even more efficient handling and optimum IP rating.

For switch cabinet makers EMKA has added a new system with rod control and several locking cams to its range. Generally, three or five cams are used for a symmetrical set-up. The length of the connecting rods is variable for the user. Consequently, the system can be designed flexibly and adjusted precisely to the respective switch cabinet.

The railway industry benefits from a multipoint locking system of stainless steel components with compression latch function to secure up to five locking points with one handle. In this way, maintenance work on the HVAC installations and control cabinets of a train is significantly facilitated and accelerated.
