EUROGUSS 2020
EMKA proves expertise in mould making
For the 13th time an international audience will meet at Europe's largest trade fair for die casting. As a manufacturer and solution provider of closure systems, hinges and gaskets EMKA has long since made a name for itself; since the takeover of the company Bekto Precisa from Goražde in Bosnia-Herzegovina, EMKA Bosnia is now also one of the largest mould manufacturers in Europe with more than 150 employees in the mould construction alone - including experienced engineers for development, design and CNC programming. EMKA Bosnia produces more than 900 moulds on site every year. Among their customers are well-known car manufacturers such as Mercedes, Audi, Porsche and VW as well as Tier 1 suppliers such as HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA from Lippstadt.
Whether for zinc die casting, aluminium die casting, stainless steel investment casting or plastic injection moulding: EMKA offers the complete range of high-quality moulds at its plants in Goražde with a total of over 700 employees. At the trade fair in Nuremberg, expert consultants from the mould making department will explain technical details and project examples to interested visitors. The trade fair presentation will also highlight that EMKA not only produces the moulds, but also assists customers from prototyping to serial production of the respective product if required. Thus, the customer can rely on EMKA for the complete product cycle. The production takes place on a total production area of 35,000 m².
Bosnian location strong in mould making
With the purchase of the company Bekto Precisa in 2018, EMKA had set another milestone in its company history and has thus also become one of the largest mould manufacturers in Europe. Since then the company has been called EMKA Bosnia under the umbrella of the EMKA Group. The modern machinery with more than 95 CNC machines is a guarantee for top quality and lowest tolerances. From the large team in the mould making department 35 employees design moulds on a grand scale for various industries. As a result of the takeover, EMKA's worldwide workforce has grown to around 2,100 colleagues.
