EMKA Mexico now has its own production facility
New machines have been installed on an area of 3,800 m2 – an investment of around 400,000 euros. These include presses, a flat and round rod machine, pad printing machines, a vulcanisation machine, and other equipment to assemble the modular products. Local production means that import barriers can be eliminated, and customers can be supplied much more quickly and more flexible. In particular, flat and round rods can be manufactured directly on site to fit a wide variety of control cabinets. Customised frames and rings are vulcanised from sealing profiles in order to avoid long sea freight times of up to twelve weeks and the associated delays. The site in Mexico sells the entire EMKA portfolio – from classic quarter turns to customised solutions.
Success step by step
EMKA Mexico looks back on an impressive journey of growth: Since its founding twelve years ago, the site has continuously evolved – even during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, the Mexico City site comprised a small warehouse and office. Shortly after, they moved to Santiago de Querétaro. About six years before relocating to the new industrial park, this site underwent another expansion. Mexico‘s become a key business hub, especially recently, aiding international firms manufacturing for North America.

In Mexico, flexibility and good service are key. EMKA Mexico provides a complete service package, boasting diverse products, quick deliveries, and deep local market knowledge. There are 17 employees working on-site right now. In order to further increase the production volume, additional jobs are to be created in the coming months in the area of machine operation.
The vision for the future is clear: sustainable, steady growth. Future investments will enhance local production while simultaneously preparing us for South American market expansion. EMKA Mexico already supplies many Latin American countries, ensuring short distances and reliable delivery reliability. Besides the planned expansion, the focus is also on intensifying the cooperation with EMKA USA. Synergies are to be utilised through an even closer partnership to serve the market even more effectively.
