EMKA drives digitalisation forward: Launch of a new ERP system
The roll-out will begin in Germany, including the subsidiaries, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027, before the system is rolled out internationally. The aim is to replace the existing systems and further develop digital business processes.

Kick-off for central ERP project
With the project kick-off, we at EMKA have launched the introduction of the new ERP software Infor LN. The decision to adopt the system was made as part of a structured selection process, which the management confirmed based on a recommendation from the core team.
The implementation is being carried out in collaboration with the implementation partner AZTEKA Consulting GmbH.
Structured start to implementation
Around 60 people attended the kick-off event, including the management, project managers and representatives from the relevant departments and the implementation partner.
The focus was on:
- Presentation of the project plan
- Coordination of the next implementation steps
- Integration of the sub-projects into the overall project
Rollout in Germany and internationally
The ERP system is being rolled out in several phases, thereby gradually replacing the existing systems.
- Rollout by the end of 2027: in Germany, including the subsidiaries ILS, EMKA Aluminium and Strenger
- followed by an international rollout
Foundation for digital development
The ERP project is a central locking set of EMKA’s digital transformation. The aim is to standardise the system landscape and map business processes more efficiently and transparently in future.
Under the guiding principle “In-for-mation: Moving forward together digitally”, implementation is being structured and driven forward across all sites
