The new hygiene program and especially the optimized hygiene quarter turn will be in the focus of the EMKA’s appearance at Blechexpo 2019 from 5 to 8 November in Stuttgart. The closure experts have developed the quarter turn in particular for sensitive environments in the food and medical sectors numerous certifications are required, as there is a very high demand for cleanliness and sterility. EMKA is currently planning to further expand its hygiene product range, with a special compression latch - also in GH size 18, which is a novelty in the hygiene segment - and a hygiene key that completely excludes metallic abrasion. This requires suitably machined stainless steel components, EMKA develops the compression latch by itself in its own technology centre and then manufactures it in its own production site. At the Blechexpo the EMKA experts will provide initial information.
Additionally, EMKA will highlight the electronic "eCam Safety" in the area of machine and personal safety. This further development includes an electronic cam lock that makes it almost impossible for unauthorised persons to open doors or flaps. Safety zones on control cabinets and machines that are life-threatening can thus be reliably secured. Via a software connection, all accesses can also be precisely registered and verified to the second.
All in all, EMKA will be presenting its complete product range of swing handles, quarter turns, hinges and sealing profiles at booth 6205 in hall 6.
