EMKA provides clean water in Ghana

Since December 2021, fresh and clean water has been running safely from the village well drilled and newly constructed with EMKA's support in the Vodzakpo community in the rural Volta region of Ghana.

New drilled well provides fresh water for 500 people

Safe access to clean drinking water for the 500 people there is a milestone in improving health, well-being and safety for the community. To sustain the benefits of the new well, community members were trained to use the well, clean it and ensure its long-term function.

The United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals

Safe access to clean drinking water (goal No. 6) for every person around the world was included in 2015 in the canon of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) overall. The United Nations has set itself the goal of achieving this by 2030. Within the framework of this major global project of the UN, EMKA Beschlagteile also assumes its responsibility and supports sustainable ecological, economic and social individual projects worldwide, such as the now completed well construction project for clean water in Ghana.
