Tradition in accordance with a dynamic business development

Since its foundation in 1932 EMKA has developed from a small enterprise into a medium sized company with a global manufacturing and distribution network.
The dynamic growth started in 1973 and continues. The long term aim is to maintain EMKA’s position as a leading independent manufacturer of complete solutions.

The takeover of the French companies Fort Securite (2000) and Rolez (2001) emphasises the claim for  complete in-house production.

In 2005 ILS Speth GmbH (incorporating the former companies Lenzner, IMK, Speth and Fedder & Löhr) was integrated into the EMKA group.

In 2008 EMKA further strengthened its position with the acquisition of the long established company of POS, giving enhanced capabilities in both the HVAC and Automotive sectors.

In 2009 the companies DGTH (Automotive) and Happich Profiles (Gaskets) were taken over into EMKA.
