The rod guide also reaches high grip forces of more than 1.000 N on powder coated weld studs. The doors can be powder coated together with the weld studs completely without special protection of the pins. The rod guide is flexibly pre-tensioned. For dismantling, the strap is simply lifted out of the thread flanks – simple disassembly. A lug at the rod guide can be used for the fast mounting of the flat rod. The rod guide can be positioned specifically by a corresponding bore in the flat rod. Thanks to the constructive design of the rod guide the flat rods do not rattle. The flat rods do not fall out of the rod guide when slamming the doors with extended rods.

Double cylinder-swinghandle
Because of its robust construction, it is suitable for outdoor use. 40mm and 45mm profile half cylinders may be used. The handle is sealable and can be used for door gauges from 2 to 12 mm. Swinghandles for other door gauges are available upon request. There is an additional version available for non-removable keys in the unlocked state. The swinghandle is available with black powder coating surface finish or in grey (RAL 7035) with anti-graffiti coating.
Dust cap for high-speed trains
With the cap installed, protection class IP65 is achieved. Material selection meets the high requirements with regard to UV resistance and aging. The holding force was proofed by a wind tunnel testing at 450 km/h over 15 min each from 4 directions. A vibration and shock-test according to DIN EN 61373, category 1, class B (enhanced test conditions) completes the ambitious test procedure
The cap fulfils the highest requirements regarding the protection of the interior locking system. In conjunction with the compression latch with visual open status indication the cap will not lock while the compression latch is open and by this means the unsecured lock is visible at any time
Lift-handle with zinc plated steel or aluminium rods
The rod control of the lift-handle has been changed to guide the steel or aluminium rods vertically to the door leaf. This leads to an increased mechanical stability of the complete locking system and a higher tearing force. The number of the rod guides and catches will be reduced compared to the traditional version with the plastic rods. Different door heights are met by shortening the rods without losing a locking point.
160° screw-on hinge
Due to high customer demand, EMKA has extended the 160° hinge program 1056 by four variants. The screw-on hinges zinc-die (hinge pin zinc-plated) can be delivered ex stock with surfaces black powder coated or chrome plated. Hinges for flush doors are lift-off versions and can be mounted very easily by hexagon nuts.

Counterbalancing spring-loaded hinge
EMKA has set up new tools for the developed and well established POS hinge for chests (e.g. refrigerating chests). This hinge is freely obtainable and available for different spring loads. The hinge can be regulated according to the weight of the lid (of the chest) by means of an adjusting nut in the socle, so that the lid remains in any position. The covers that are included in delivery can be put on easily after assembling of the hinge. The spring-loaded hinge for a lid weight of about 6 kg – 23 kg is now available.

Two new pulls in the air conditioning applications program
Compared with ours pulls (No. 1091-103-01, 1091-103-02 and 1091-103-03) the new parts have essential advantages:
- Due to the screw fastening, door gauges between 0.8 and 7 mm can be covered.
- Due to the foamed sealing, a high protection class is achieved (from IP54 to IP65).
- The fixing of variant B is effected internally by means of the fixing material included in the delivery, which makes a removal from outside impossible.

A new variant has been added to our well-established hinge program 1079: a stainless steel lift-off version according to AISI 316 (1.4401). The new variant shows a specific characteristic: The chamfered ends prevent an accumulation of dirt, so that this hinge can not only be used in the sector of sheet metal forming, but also for other applications, e. g. in the food industry. The 180° hinge is suitable for right hand as well as for left hand application and is suitable for prominent doors.

EMKA is expanding the product range of 1250 (window) by a series of windows with casted on mounting bolts. The windows are provided with a captive circumferential and foamed seal so the windows are IP 65 rated. Windows without frame are available for a door thickness (Ts) of 3 to maximum 13 mm, windows with frame are available for a door thickness (Ts) of > 1 to maximum 6 mm.

Agent E – The smart lock
Agent E is a battery-operated electro-mechanical handle module which can be installed instead of a usual handle or quarter turn. It takes over the functiononality of the lock. Three different versions of Agent E are available (Basic, Professional, Superior).
Release and programming is effected via micro transmitter (TAG) with an encoded light beam, directed to a receiver cell inside the handle module
The version Professional allows programming of Agent E via USB port. Event memory (opering and locking activities) can be read out.
The version Superior allows a central administration of all functions with software AGENT E Management Suite via radio network and the system-specific access point. more
